About

Not long ago, my husband, our furry family, and I made the move to Tennessee. That experience opened my eyes to just how much goes into creating a new home — not only for us, but for the pets who are every bit as much family as we are. From selling and preparing a house, to packing, unpacking, and finally making a new space feel like home, I saw firsthand how many details need attention. And for pet families like ours, that also means finding the right vet, groomer, pet-friendly yards, and parks to make sure everyone settles in happily.

For over 25 years, I owned and operated a dental practice — a career that was all about helping people, earning trust, and paying close attention to detail. When life shifted me into real estate, I carried those same values forward. Today, I get to help people through another important chapter in their lives: finding or selling a home, relocating, or starting fresh in a new place.

But Real Hound Estates is more than real estate tips. It’s a space where life with pets and the beauty of East Tennessee come together. Typhoon, my loyal Belgian Malinois, along with his furry siblings, keep life lively and full of love. They’ll often join the conversation here — sharing their own “insights” and stories (because if you know Malinois, you know they always have something to say 🐶).

So whether you’re planning a move, looking for real estate guidance, searching for dog-friendly inspiration, or just here for a taste of Smoky Mountain magic, welcome. You’re part of our pack now.
